Yarn Along - end of September

""~ Two of my favorite things are knitting and reading, and the evidence of this often shows up in my photographs.  I love seeing what other people are knitting and reading as well. So, what are you knitting or crocheting right now? What are you reading? Take a photo and share it either on your blog or on Flickr. Leave a link below to share your photo with the rest of us! ~""

Joining Ginny at Small Things for Yarn Along today.  Read this, then hop over and see what the others are doing.  I get lots of ideas for knitting and reading overt there!
For KNITTING: I was looking for my needles and found the 2 pair I wanted, each buried in a half-finished dishcloth.  So, I went to visit a friend last Saturday while our kids were at things, and finished both of them.  Now they are free to cast on that pretty RED yarn that I bought last March for some fingerless gloves.  I should have them done already, because they were for football season this year!  My new team color for college football is red and white and I didn't need them for my first game, just a raincoat.  Now that it seems a broken arm has put that on hold, there isn't a rush, but let's just end the procrastination and since I'm driving and camping this weekend, seemed like a good time to start them.  Also dragging that Juliet vest out after gettinga  push by seeing someone else's on their blog and I wanted to wear it by Christmas, so time to knit.  I have ripped it out maybe 4 times.  Never got as far as the bottom design.  It's just time to move on it.  Fall is here and it's a perfect time to hunker down with the knittin'.
For READING:  I am starting a few studies all at the same time in different groups and they all look good.  I've been having an ADD time with books lately, but I have this library book here that's getting read this week.  Not too far, but so far it's good.
Stuff to do right now, or I'd just curl up and work on both of these hobbies!!
Have a wonderful time and make sure to check out what everyone else is doing.
