There are other students here...

Just wanted you to know that there are other students in this family.  Bert started 10th grade and for the first time in his life, he went to school as the only child from this house to attend our local school.  We always take a picture here by the front door.  It's all good here.

The week before, Andrea started her senior year at college.  The week before that we constructed this wicked-awesome raised platform bed.  Her bedroom was dinky and the dresser was icky and falling apart, so she wanted to build a platform and raise her bed over the dresser.  I wrote a big post then realized that I had already written about this project. Sorry.  We completed this project with pride.. All three of them are college girls.  Up all night is their life!  I told her that bed may just stay with the apartment when she moves out.  She said it is a family heirloom to be passed on to all the other children in turn..
