I got real busy this last school year. It was a senior year and those are all the crazier. I didn't post much then, so I'm going back through some photos I took and thought I'd do a little catch-up. This is the display of Dan's stuff at the graduation party. When you are kid #3, there is a bit of this that is already figured out. I made the scrapbook on the table and the quilt that hangs behind it. Not so many applique blocks as Andrea's quilt, but a uniform shirt with a number for each of his 4 high school years, a transformer, his grad year, his college CORTLAND blocks, his name, his truck, his friend who rode to school with him for several years, and anywhere else they could figure out to go!!
There are plaques and trophies, and some photos. His basketball for 1004 points in his varsity basketball career, and TIGGER. That was his stuffed animal of choice as a little kid. The weed blanket (kid quilt) is in such bad share, I figured the health dept might just haul it away if we put it on the table.
Headed out tomorrow for his first home game at college. Last week he had a scrimmage. I never did go to scrimmages. Too confusing for me. But tomorrow I might just figure it all out! Meeting my friend and then going on over to the field. Can't wait. It's been forever since I squeezed that big lug...
Have a great weekend and maybe catch a little football action yourself.

congratulations to the graduate! The table looks great, lovely quilt and I love Tigger! It's obvious you put a lot of thought and care into his table. :)
