3 days off...

We started out in Portville NY at Sprague's. If you haven't been there before, I think it's time you tried it!!! A feast for lunch and then a walk through the sugarbush, to the sugar house, past the bear climbing the tree and several other wood carvings!!....

We said we were walking off the meal, but we were really just being snoopy...what's up there on that hill, anyway????So THAT"S where they keep the sugarhouse!!Had to stop and take a look at some little Bobwhites.... I really wouldn't know what Bobwhites were, but I read all the Trixie Belden mystery books I could get my hands on as a kid, and their club was The Bobwhites of the Glen...Besides eating at our destination, we took along the cornhole game and broke that out. It was fun to watch...And fun to play...if you are better than me, which pretty much everyone was....here's Scooter. He does this on his vacation, too. And here's my sweetie. You might not be able to tell from this picture, but he is getting a bigger benefit out of healthy eating this summer...Dropped several pounds. Feelin' better...Gotta keep those men healthy...

Willowe plays this game with Scooter on vacation...or maybe they play against each other!.....

Cheryl and I just dug out our knitting. Hey, it's vacation days. We can do whatever relaxing thing we want, right?!?!?

Here I am untangling what I thought was an easy winding job, that ended up with me making it more of a mess instead of less....Kathy looks pretty intense...think she is studying our work. Should have brought your knitting along, girl! Maybe you should try a little trip to Victor NY to the Springdale Farm Bed and Breakfast!!
