The First grade girls are flower girls, sprinkling lilac petals for the queen to walk down on....When all of the senior girls are on the platform, including the queen, Bethany Heiser, and the class representatives, Enter the 3rd grade girls as MayPole winders... if you have ever been to Clymer on MayDay, the maypole winding song gets into your head and just stays there for the rest of your life.

Last week we celebrated May Day in our town. It is a tradition that goes back to our parents youth here. The senior girls wear long gowns and are honored by the underclassmen. 4 lilac arch bearers from the Freshman, Sophomore, and Junior class are chosen by the class, along with a representative, who brings a gift to the queen, a member of the senior class, voted on by all of the high school students. This first picture is of katie marbach...she's the only senior in my Sunday School class and a special friend of my boy, Dan...
