Another one bites the dust...

I finished another book today...and I finished the fingerless mitts for ME! and now I'm on to my other pair of socks that I got yarn for when I finished the first pair in my class. These are black with little flecks and they are NOT all wool. They actually have 75% acrylic, but I'm willing to give it a try. I really sort of like my all wool purple socks. But I bought this to try it and hoping that the sock light goes on for me. I think I could get to like socks, but I'm still overthinking the process. But, I have lots of sock yarn to practice on, thanks to Carmen... Not too much $$, but enough to want to do some socks to use it...
So, do you have a stash??

Those fingerless gloves are pretty neat. I've seen a few people with them.

I haven't "graduated" to sock making yet... I taught myself to knit through DVD instruction this fall. I'm still making scarves for now... well, I'm making ONE scarf that I still haven't finished. I have too many hobbies!!! And knitting is tough on my neck.

Sue -
I made a BUNCH for Christmas gifts, but none for myself, so now I have a pair!

Sweet-
I wouldn't have been brave enough to do socks, but my other 3 knitter friends were trying them this summer and each was challenged, so we signed up for a class this fall. Funny you should mention your abundance of hobbies. Last night I told my hubby, I wanted to learn to play the guitar this summer and he was not thrilled and said I already had enough hobbies!! Can you really ever have enough!?!??! I can tinker on a piano, but I don't have one and maybe I don't have time, but hey, I'm not going to learn any younger, right?? Thought it could be my birthday gift to me this year. I do have lots of 'stuff' with my hobbies. heheheee!!
