Remedial Scrap & Sew

Today I'm involved in remedial Scrap & Sew. It is for people who need a little help. I need a little help. Looks like I do better under pressure, 'cuz that's where I am right now. I'll feel better at the end of the day, but there is a movie to go to later and I don't know how long that will keep me out. But before I go to bed, I will have a quilt top stitched together and maybe even stretched out. And the scrapbook pages will be spread out all over the place. Yep, it will be a full-fledged mess, not just a creative jumble. But it's one step closer.

I did take a little break from my stuff to cut off and hem the MayDay Yellow Sparkly Dress to be worn under the graduation gown and later at the party. Baccalaureate tomorrow night and a bad shopping trip of too-short dresses for a tall girl brought us to this place and i'm glad. It is a dress pattern I like and suggested that she get a summer material and make another just to wear....in her spare time, of course. You never know. Stranger things have happen...none that I remember, but hey...

AND,,,we are still in limbo about our vacation lodging. We would rather rent a house, then stay in a hotel and we want to be close to a beach, so we can just wander in and out with our ice tea and lemonade and books and whatever. But we have been a day late on many rentals and it takes them SO LONG to get back and say 'Oh, I'm sorry. That week is no longer available.' If you do this, please respond quickly. We have 2 places out right now and we're waiting for response. Getting too close to do one at a time!!

SO back to the creative spot and my break here was just because I found a block that was supposed to have an applique sewed on and it is missing...OOPS!!
