And then..

SOOOO>>>>>..... I had my car repaired from the deer damage... and the piece that goes across the front with the logo on it, didn't clip into the light like it was supposed to, so I am getting that replaced Monday... then I stopped at my friendly FL Auto to have my tire pressure adjusted and make the light go out and the sensor/stem came off in the cap and it was immediately flat. Glad I was smart enough to know that I couldn't get them right on my own... I'd be home with that in my hand wondering what to do. So they slapped the donut on and I came to work and they are fixing it so they can slap it back on when I stop on my way home... but we talked about the whole ENGINE light situation and how I should get that taken care of before I run out of warranty and my mind travels over to the Amish... I must remember they have horse problems and my car is much warmer than their buggy and I would still have to feed and clean up after the horse, even if I left it in the garage for a month... so, I guess I'll just keep rolling along. My DIY does NOT include car repairs... and that is probably best. But, I almost hate to say it, our family has remained pretty healthy so far. No bad colds, despite the changing weather. We have TONS of snow and it is 25 or so today, so it is probably not going anywhere soon. Mary & Ernie and I walked yesterday, even though it was between 0 and 5 degrees out. I have feeling back in all of my extremities. Life is good. I worked for Scott yesterday from home. I managed to get the kitchen floor swept, mopped and waxed. It has been awhile since it had the triple treatment. There is a shine in the kitchen...might just scare the natives, who are unfamiliar with such a glow... Got Andrea back to the orthodontist for the second time this week. Did you know that if the chain link comes untied from the wire, you can do a temporary fix with some quilting thread?? it is stiff enough to feed through that little link and be able to tie. And what else,,,hmmm... Secret Blessings friends this week at church. I have only had a secret pal once before and I didn't do so well, but the friend who arranged this has made it Karen-proof. We will have our pals until July... I'd tell you more, but it's a secret. :o) maybe more later... you never know...
