Crispy laundry

Nothing like sheets, fresh from the line. My line is in a different place, because that's where it works. It is under the top deck....SO... I can hang stuff out even when the weather is not the best. But I don't get a lot of breeze under there, so it takes longer and the stuff tends to be stiffer. But that's OK, 'cuz these things smell so yummmy!! It has slowed down snowing a bit, but there were snow flakes all week long on the 5 day forecast, so I won't put the shovel away yet. I think I might get my car back tomorrow...wow, 2 weeks in someone else's wheels is a long time. I hope I can remember how to drive it. I think it was like a puzzle and they were having trouble with the pieces all fitting back together... here's hoping for the best... and all because the engine light wouldn't go out!! How is a girl supposed to ignore the engine light??... Bob Reagle would shudder to think I had not remembered that from driver's ed. It OK Reagley, I remember. Now if only I could remember all the other stuff from school. SOHCAHTOA....

I love the picture- tons of snow and sheets on the line! Classic Northern snowbelt photo! You're lucky- that setup works any time of year! I can't get my husband to even make me a clothesline... but I understand he is busy and all! It would save some $$$, but he doesn't ever have time to put up a line for me. That is the life of a farmer's wife! Make do with what you have...

honey-
you drag a post hole diggin' tool from the farm and we'll find some wood and hooks and put one up for you! I don't know that we would need cement in the holes, but whatever. I love clothes on the line. I forget them sometimes under the deck, and it does take them longer to dry with no breeze, but my mom hangs some of hers every week-winter & summer. Some leave the pole/poles up and put the line up and down as they use it...that way you can still drive your big tractor between the poles!! Or it is a great place for the kids to practice volleyball and badmitten!! Let me know!! I'm a toolbelt diva!! and it just may scare JR enough to dig the holes himself!! ** :o)
