run, run, trip, trip

At an earlier time in my life, I heard tell of a game.  The older cousins in a family played it with the younger cousins.  Actually, I think it was more that they played it ON the younger cousins.  I really don't know the details, because they would always start laughing when they talked about, "Remember when we used to play Run, Run, Trip, Trip?"  and laugh some more.
Lately, I feel just a little like I'm playing the game of run, run, trip, trip.  This time of the year, and the time of life, lends itself to moving faster than the brain really keeps up well....
