Good Monday Morning!!

WOW!  Forget and hit the enter button and already posted this... not the plan at all!

I had to go into Jamestown today to the outpatient part of the hospital.  No big deal....actually really no deal at all.  I have this bug bite below the knee from several years ago that was a bump and over the years I have shaved it repeatedly, making it larger and larger until I decided that it needed to come off.  So I made an appt at my local Drs office, but when I got there they said it was a thing that needed stitches, so they referred me to a surgeon.  I had second thoughts at that point whether I even needed to bother..  But hoping I have 20-30 good years left and my skin will just get saggier and I'm not planning on hooking up with any "don't shave our legs" groups, I figured I'd just do it.  So I went to the next doctor appointment where he checked it out, said no problem and sent me out to schedule a time in the hospital outpatient...really....it is just a little bump....having third thoughts...but went there today.  Went into the room with it, came out of the room without it.  Done deal...wondering how many bills those all equal??  But it is gone, so it's all good.....

So, to celebrate, I stopped at Walmart for a few things...you know..."he used all the shampoo!....she used my shampoo!  Who took the toothpaste?"   and these guys wanted to come home with me, so I put them in.  Never could keep an ivy alive very long... My grandma used to have one on her frig, I think or over the sink and it grow around the window a couple of times and the took off in various directions....  Her name was Grandma Green....I think it was because of her green thumb.
Have a good today...

Natalie calls me Gramma Green but it's because I live in a green house. Kelly is Gramma Red - because of the red barn!

That ivy was a 4th grade project, and I always remember the WOW of how it DID grow and grow and grow, I think all around the top of her kitchen. Maybe that's where the ivy stenciling ideas came from.

And re the shaving.... just a clue - another advantage to 'getting older'your hair growth slows down...a lot... or I just got lazy and don't shave as much.... hmmm that could be it!
