Andrea lost her apron somewhere...maybe her car...maybe her dorm room....so I made this one...but it didn't match her shirt....so it's still on her bed....maybe she'll wear a different shirt next weekend...or I'll just give it to someone else!!
I was working on this last week and finished it and bagged it and took it to a wedding reception on Saturday. Do you need flannel in Georgia?? Oh, I think so. If it is colder at night, then it is in the day, you need flannel. Trust me on that one. Flannel and I are good friends.
Here's the one that needs a movie now. The binding it sown on by machine and I just have to put in Soul Surfer and finish it up to give it away. Their wedding was Saturday, too, but I missed it. So, now I'll finish this one up and deliver it to his mom. It's flannel weather in Erie, PA. Trust me. And if it isn't tonight, just wait a month or two. Then it might be DOUBLE FLANNEL weather!!
Didn't want you to think I was just sittin' around eating bonbons. I got my sweater blocked, too and I think I'm going to wear it on Saturday night. Just because I can....

I saw a beautiful sweater in a magazine and thought... oh ~ Karen could make that for me. The retail of the sweater was $215 (I think, maybe more, the $200 was right) but imagine the yarn it would take to make that puppy. Maybe that's why I wear so many sweatshirts instead of fluffy sweaters!
I'd love to see the sweater.
