Proverbs 1

Let's start at the very beginning...a very good place to start..... oh, sorry. Got just a bit carried away. Not trying to slack off, but today was my Beth Moore morning and I leave home around 5:45 am to go to a Bible Study and then to work and then stop at the store and deliver something to a guy who I didn't make connections with earlier and then home to empty the dehumidifier and load the washer and unload the dryer andset several baskets in front of the TV for one of my few times that I can still multi-task. And then I remembered that I didn't do my Proverbs 1 yet... so let's get to it!!
"The Proverbs of Solomon, son of David, King of Israel;
for attaining wisdom and discipline; for understanding words of insight;
for acquiring a disicplined and prudent life.
doing what is right and just and fair;
for giving prudence to the simple, knowledge and discretion to the young--
let the wise listen and add to their learning,
and let the discerning get guidance--
for understanding proverbs and parables, the sayings and riddles of the wise.

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge,
but fools despise wisdom and discipline."

WOW!! There's no question that this is heavy duty stuff. Read the whole chapter..not much to ask, but much to gain. Advice and wisdom that is ageless...

That just made me want to read it again. I think I will add it to my scripture study.
