2day...

Today while riding to Erie for another tax prepare day, we passed WAY TOO MANY semis in the median. I am glad that I didn't have to come here yesterday. It was a little slippy on my way to Clymer to work. And I'd look out the window from time to time and it would be all clear or really nasty. If you looked and didn't like the weather, just wait a half hour and look again. And maybe it was just way worse this way...

Last night after the ballgame, I had a niece to deliver, one of the ball players that's a friend of Dan, and then a cheerleader who couldn't get ahold of her parents. First rider delivered, OK, second rider...ewww...that driveway looks bad, so I backed up and gassed it to get through the end, thinking I would stop after I got through the sludge...didn't do it and slide smack dab over to the right and against a very crusty bank that was as high as my car...
Here's to the guy with the shovel in his trunk and another ball player. He shoveled around the tires, a bit on the side rear corner of the bank and got it to wiggle away enough to shoot it back into the road. Gotta find a gift certificate for that man...and maybe some cookies, too.
Lesson Learned: If the driveway looks questionable, leave the kid at the end and let them walk... it's good enough...and better than being stuck in bitter cold weather with one shovel. Thanks Tommy Phelps!!

Glad you were okay. I do NOT like driving on icy roads.

Wow--sounds exciting! I love winter but not when driving conditions are like that!
