So for now, I guess I'll shower and work on this pile. This is my new quilt for my bed. Just 5 different materials put together by the method of "pick 2- if they are different, sew them together. No two blocks the same side by side." I have seen several this way and I think it will be great, but if I don't love it, I can always gift it or flip it over!! No. I will like it. I like the material and colors. just gotta go from there.
I'll have to take a picture when it is done. Of course, I have that BS girls getting together at 4, so I will have plenty of interruptions! But that's OK. That just means I need to grab my new knitting project to take along. I have a slipper with one sole, that needs another sole and then start another slipper. You'll like them..felted clogs...still need to fix the other felted slipper's fit. Especially since I bought enough yarn for another pair of those. But I saw the nicest cardi knit up here yesterday, and I'm thinking it's time to try one. She wrote me that she's not been knitting that long, and boosted my courage a bit.. If not this style, than another....something big and wearable. OK. I'd better get moving for now. I'll be back later to brag about all that I got done!!

I cant wait to see your finished product (the quilt). I have attempted to quilt but have yet to find the dedication to actually complete one. But I am thinking about trying to quilt something fairly simple, maybe that will help. :) Anyways, good luck on that wood pile. ;)
I helped sew a few stiches in a quilt for the Fall festival at my church last week. I was supprised how much I enjoyed it. Of course the fellowship was wonderful too. We had an age range of 16-92 working on it. But I may try and help again.
Oh, Robin...
Get thee to a class or a friend who will get you going!! You will find an addiction in it and it is a community. I like that perhaps as much as anything with my twice a year Scrap & Sew weekends...just visiting with people that it seems like we are all too busy to have these conversations in regular life. A dozen or so people in the room and there is enough room to have private coversations, but also cozy enough to all have the same one and hear it. It's #15 and going strong.
