Some days...

Yep, some days in the summer, when the weather is perfect, you just have to get out the '84 Cutlas, pop out the T Tops and go for a cruise. It really doesn't matter where you go, just go. Let the wind blow your hair into a wild mess. Hey! I've never been too worried about it. It's just hair! And if you can grab some back roads, all the better. Cruise slow enough to cool off with the breeze and still not miss any of that magic summer scenery that's flying by. Wave to all the Amish kids too. They should be worried when they see me coming on days like this, but they are kind enough to just smile and wave. There is a certain roar to this engine that takes me back a few years and makes me smile, too.
And the summer's not over until someone takes the baby to Erie and cruises the Peninsula...stopping at Sara's, of course, for a dog and a coke...Keep your eyes open...summer's flying by and it's a tradition worth continuing. Wanna ride along??
Buckle up and let's go.........

I was, sue, but she's quite the gas hog and the gauge doesn't work right, so you've gotta keep track of the mileage on a little paper.
