so...it's time....

Child #2 is graduated...
for the most part the other grad gifts are all crafted...just finishing up 2.
June is mostly gone and vacation is close at hand...
It's time...
Time to get back to work outside the home. I like being home, don't get me wrong. I just don't know that I do it so well. I think I was in a bit of a depressed funk with no job... spinning wheels and not going anywhere. My crafty projects were WAY overthought, as the mind would go elsewhere...measuring was done 2 and 3 and sometimes more...once I got on a roll, I'd be great for a while, then a little bump would stop me in my tracks....and I'd spin. I did the scrapbook in less than 4 days. And it didn't turn out too bad...similar job to Alex's... told Andrea that all the pictures that are spread out all over the place need to be sorted back into the years and then we can add them into another book that was started with the first-days-of-school. And then she said she wanted to do one just of basketball. But it will have it's place...and it will not be in the living room or family room. It will be a work space in my space that will need to be kept under control. And if that is done, then you really can just come in and sit down and work for a page or a few and then walk away... that's the way that little corner was supposed to be. We can get it set up for both of us to be able to work there if we need it.
I think it must be time for making some muffins. I hear the kitchen calling. In anticipation of the drug testing that may occur next week, I've been advised by my friends NOT to eat poppyseed muffins. Wouldn't that be a real kicker. Sorry, your muffin this morning has disqualified you from working for our company!!
And then I have to teach a group of several kids' SS classes on Sunday. Not knowing how the attendance will be on July 4th, I'll have to plan for a bunch and not make them up ahead of time. Cheryl has an ice cream in ziploc bag recipe that we are going to try...here's hoping it works. Now I have to find a story/lesson to link it to.... Then Bible School is the week after from the 11th-15th. Dan & I will be opening up the program each night. And then it will be vacation...
Dog Walked....DONE
Apple Muffins ....DONE
Oatmeal Choc Chip Cookies....DONE
4 loads of clothes hung on the line....DONE
SOOOOO.....how many things checked off the list for the day, is enough???
Something crafty and some of the sock game or weeding....

See you later!!

Somehow I missed that you were going back to work. What will you be doing?

I'm thinking that getting 2 items checked of the list would be enough. I knew you'd been without the job for a bit, but with graduation coming and all that went with it, the timing probably couldn't have been better. Glad things will be getting back to normal for you.

Have a wonderful and peaceful weekend. Cheers ~

I understand your frustration. Sometimes it is easier to get things done when you are crazy busy but I hope you have taken time for you and for God. That is the best way to spend a little downtime. Praying for all your choices. Hope to see you soon. Really! Love you
