Where in the world???

Ernie says he needs to go out....
WOW! He has to go through there....that's his place to go off the deck, and he always goes off the deck, like a good dog...
This is my view in the rear mirror as I head off to a day of work...

Nice looking trees. Hollywood could never fake snow this good...

I decided instead of sliding down the big hill, I'd take the little hill... it goes down this little road,

And around this curve... on Shadyside.... yeah, can you see why we bought a generator?? Lines down is a frequent occurance around here...

At the stop sign on the corner, I look across the road to the local bed & breakfast... How charming...if you like snow...
I'll get the mail on the way home...if I can still find the post office...

Going past my friend Esther's parents' house.... John and Mable...are you in there???

Perhaps I'll just follow this sign instead..it's on the snowmobile trail.... a couple of turns and I could end up at one of my favorite spots, winter or summer...
Just follow this sign out Bailey Hill Rd...to PINE JUNCTION!! Half the fun is finding it!!
OK... I guess I'd better get to work....

Isn't this GREAT that they plowed MY side of the road?!?!? I Love these guys...
Will the snow never STOP???

Oh, here they come to do the other side. How nice... My brother drives one of these... He did get stuck on a hill this weekend. Sliding backwards down the hill in one of these things is NOT FUN.... of course, you don't know that until you've tried it. I'm just going to take his word for it!!

Here's someone else, off to work... See ya later!!
HAVE A HAPPY DAY!!!

Brrrrrrr. I'm shivering just looking at these pics!

In fact, I think I'll turn on my space heater.

=)

PS. Beautiful dog!

That's a LOT of snow. We're expecting it again. I don't mind the snow so much, I just really don't like these sub zero temperatures.
Stay safe and warm!

Those are some very cool snow pictures. I can't believe my eyes - so MUCH snow! As you already know, I live in the SF Bay Area so snow is a really rare occurence here. And to my surprise (and my son's delight) his elementary school is having 5 tons of man-made snow delivered to the school tomorrow so the kids can have a snow day. We've been advised to bring gloves, hats, etc.

So while you have TONS and TONS and TONS of snow, we'll have a tiny FIVE tons tomorrow. The kids are excited!

Good luck on the drive home. :>)
