LOOKIN' OUT A DIRTY WINDOW...for spring...

The snow is swiftly melting... the basketball shoes have been traded for softball and baseball spikes, and life goes on. I am kicking into high gear the plans for our Spring Scrap & Sew weekend. While our number is down, we know many of those not present this time, will be back next time, so we don't worry about it. We all have fun staying up late, talking and laughing until we cross our legs... TMI?? We've been known to sing and dance and have a great time... For a weekend we'll forget about stockmarkets, 401k's, colds & flu, who left what where and what time do we have to have this one there. We have been known to sample a splash of wine, only medicinally, of course. We eat when we're not even hungry...'cuz we didn't have to fix it and it just looks good. And if it's chocolate, get out of our way!! We start projects, finish projects, show and tell, help each other, search for stickers for our neighbors, and share pictures and tears as we remember together the friend that is no longer here, or the babies that grew up too fast. We've had massages, colored hair, done our nails, danced on the chairs and tables, gone to bed then gotten back up, 'cuz we don't want to miss it and we're really not THAT tired anyway. We've stayed in the conference room when we were too tired to go our rooms, then gone to bed and talked for another hour or 3. We've solved many of life's problems, encouraged each other, and just listened...who could ask for more....

12-20, but that's our limit ...invitation only, no whiners allowed. It is awesome and most won't leave until we book rooms for the next weekend.. too bad you are so far away!
