Yarn Along 3

Greetings!  It's another wonderful week of YARN ALONG with Ginny...
"~ Two of my favorite things are knitting and reading, and the evidence of this often shows up in my photographs. I love seeing what other people are knitting and reading as well. So, what are you knitting or crocheting right now? What are you reading? Take a photo and share it either on your blog or on Flickr. Leave a link below to share your photo with the rest of us! ~"  to join in this, please link to Yarn Along and put in your link!!

soooo here I am! I have passed my Wilder Life book off for today to my friend who is leaving on vacation.  I'm not into it that far and I got an interloan Library book and have another coming Friday that will have deadlines for reading, so I told her to read it and then I'll catch it after I've read the others. Yep, that library book is Sheepish.  I almost pushed the BUY IT button several times and then I thought of the Library interloan and it is now something that I can do at home on my computer and tell that what Library I want to pick it up at.   I've also uncovered a book a friend from work lent me that I need to read and return.  It's by Lew Sterret and when I used to go to Miracle Mountain to church camp, he was one of the cowboys, and then a worker and then a bit more as time went on..

The Light yarn is what became of that shawl I was uncertain of.  I had it to the couch and then couldn't bring myself to pull the needle, but after reading a few more posts and not really being motivated to spend any more time on it, I've pulled it out and rolled it back into balls and I'll find another pattern for that.  That other lovely yarn is Happy Fuzzy yarn from my fiber fest trip.  I just love it and over the winter I found a shawl patter on ravelry...something like the Sunlight Shawl for sad People or something like that...I'll look it up before next time.  It's to knit when the weather has good you down and you need a lift.  I think this just might do it!!
So that's what I'm reading and knitting....some sewing going on, too.  End of school for the kids...Book reading time!!

***  CORRECTION ***
The yarn I am using in the Sunlight Shawl for Sad People is TWIST & TWINE that I bought online after admiring some on another blog.  It is wonderful and I think I'll just sit and knit a bit on it....

I love the light yarn balls.... They look good like that, at least for a pair of minutes.
