Sunday night

It's Sunday nite here. It has been over a week since we brought our new puppy home. I know, I know. I said we'd wait until spring. But I just couldn't come home to no waggy tail, barky welcome. And Scott was just not getting enough work done without a furry assistant in his office... so I got onto http://www.puppyfind.com/. I looked around and found some real cute border collie pups and decided to shoot a few emails over to Scott. He said - make the call and see if he is still looking for a home. We left on Saturday a.m. bright and early. And drove a looooong way to a nice farm to meet our new friend.

There was a bit of a sad feeling when the furry head cannot yet rest in your lap, the black and white are in different spots, and he's still getting used to us.

But he already knows his place. I am teasing my husband relentlessly. He said it is our dog. I asked why our dog always sits under his chair at the table, in his lap in his chair and under his desk, even when he's 20 miles away and I'm right next to it at the table.

He is a cute, fluffy puppy, clumbsy and crazy. He is lovable and happy. We already love him. Welcome to our life, little Eli....named after Jessica's cousin. And thank you Jessica, for letting us bring him home.

Oh what a cutie! I hadn't visited your blog in a while and I'm sorry to hear about Ernie, losing a pet is so hard. But that's exciting that there's a new puppy at your house! What is it's name?

You should have brought back a little lovable lamb so Eli would have a playmate!

He matches your quilt perfectly.
