Proverbs 4

OOPS! Got past a couple of days without posting.... First home game yesterday and stuff to do in the early a.m. before and then a long, hot game...
Now on with the Proverbs posting for today...
6 "Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you; love her, and she will watch over you."
This is a good, strong read all through ...I'll wait with some of my other favorite passages until the next trip through...

At the game yesterday, Libby said to me "I had a dream about you."
"Oh, I hope it wasn't bad!"
"No" she said "I was having some problems and you told me to read something in Proverbs...I think it was 3.." Ironic that she dreamed about the chapter that was yesterday's reading...

Keep reading your Proverbs...a spoonful everyday, and things will be brighter!!!

Now, I'm sorry to be missing church, but I said I would play in a benefit golf tourney and it starts at 9 this morning. I will be soaked by the time I'm done. I poured last night and I was taking down some clothes from the line under the deck at 4am. Didn't sleep that well because it was hot and sticky in the first place. Temperature is down now, so tonight will be good sleeping. Better go get my game on!! It's a scramble, so I'm probably just along for the ride, but I do have a good drive or chip every once in a while. And Renee's got those new clubs that she's been hitting like crazy. We had 10 for golf in Union City on Friday night and we did pretty good. But they feed us anyone!!!
Have a great Sunday and Labor Day. I need to make a list of things to get done on Monday... And I think I'd better go find my rainpants...

Wisdom is indeed a good companion to cultivate. I love that your daughter dreamed Proverbs.
