Some Neat things that came here at Christmas...

Don't you love my tree?? It was so nice I hated to take it down. Of course it looked much nicer in the dark with all the little lights shining on it. But Douglas Fir and I had to part, so I pushed him out on the deck...
I'm one of these and now I have the shirt to prove it! Thanks Alex and Alyssa! It's good to have shopping help, you know...

This was a gift from my hubby. There are 4 sections for appetizers and a center circle for the dip! It is on a warmer so your wings stay hot and also it turns like a lazy susan! Pretty neat, right?? My mom saw my post with my crockpot with the wood block handle and she was concerned for the welfare of my family, so she got me a new one. I saved that other one, just for a spare for Scrap & Sew potatoes and stuff...but this is the new one. I tried it out and it works mighty nice. Don't you love to come home after a day of work to smell what's cookin' in your crockpot???

AHHHHHHHH!!! This was the thing I asked for. My current mixer was a 1982 model and it didn't work in all the gears and I didn't really use it very much. Confession- I haven't fired this baby up yet, but I'm planning on doing just that tomorrow! I'll be home in the morning and I'm thinking BREAD and/or COOKIES...what do you think???

One of the kids got me this...the card was signed the kids. Isn't he cute?? But he is empty, so that may tip the scales on what gets mixed on Wednesday.

I do love my crockpot!

I didn't want to throw out my tree this year, either. After we got all the ornaments off, it still looked beautiful. It was not even close to dead yet, and I wanted to keep it in the living room longer, but my husband talked me out of it.

=)

I have my mom's Kitchen Aid mixer from the early 1970's, and I will dread the day when it needs to be replaced. I just like using something that was hers.

Boy, I wish I had $1 for every batch of cookies that baby mixed up.

Karen, I have that exact Kitchen Aid and I LOVE it! I use it most often for kneading bread. It is my most beloved kitchen appliance... well, maybe a love my coffee pot a little more, but second place isn't too shabby! Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
