Night Greeting...

I'm still adjusting to daylight savings time...and also adjusting to working until 5pm...sort of all at the same time... and someone here has basketball practice at 6:15 some mornings....and since they can't drive, more people get up to be at practice before 6:15. Makes for some long days and I think, the need for more caffeine. Tomorrow, more caffeine. And perhaps I'll take a little nap when I get home. Just for fun.
Saturday, I have tickets from a friend to go to a dinner theatre at Chautauqua Suites. It is by Family Life Network and is a Christmas story. OK, so I KNOW I'll have to take a nap on Saturday or sleep really, really late...like 7:00...you know, those sleep-in days when you wake up at work time and then can't go back to sleep. These tickets are supposed to be premo - front table. It was a surprise and I offered them back to her, as there was another change in her plans, but she said 'oh, no' so I'm going to take advantage of the situation.
I feel bad because I want to post, posts, but my brain is just a bit mushy and I have my book-sort mess still everywhere. Did I tell you about my book sort?? Well, I had a couple of extra boxes of books that won't fit on my shelves and books stuffed an stacked on them as it is and I decided it was time to sort, arrange, and purge. The 'out of here' pile is mighty small, the right top 2 shelves are for Christian non-fiction, the next 2 shelves are for Christian Fiction, and the bottom shelf is a special size for school yearbooks and that size of book. Well, the top 2 shelves are pretty packed with no room to grow, I'm just starting to work on the CF section, but ran out of time and ran out of steam. There are 5 shelves on the other side for books,too, but there are books everywhere here!! So I have books on chairs, tables, on the floor, still in boxes and out of boxes and not yet carried in. AND MY WORD - HAS ANYONE SEEN THAT DARN COUNTRY WOMAN MAGAZINE FROM THE LIBRARY??? I copied a pattern, so I wouldn't lose the magazine and now I CAN"T find the magazine anyway?? I keep thinking it is inside another magazine...it is under something,...it is in one of the too many bags I have all over....it will turn up somewhere that I put it to be SAFE!!! But so far, no magazine. Maybe this weekend...or maybe they have another copy at the store and I'll just replace it and quit torturing myself.
OK, well I'm off to flannel up. I think I have some wash to flip around on my way to my pj's. And I'd better grab my clothes for tomorrow morning. After all, it's another 6:15 kind of day. Remind me how I'll miss it when it's gone.... I already do with the college kids, so I'll try to savor the moments.
