SOOOO....today I had a goal of getting to the bottom of an EXCELL spreadsheet that I had been working on for quite some time. But I kept getting interrupted and other things seemed more pressing, but today THIS WAS IT...and now, I believe, that I am at the bottom of what I have ...so I threw in another load of clothes, gotta hang out some jeans and then it sewing machine and me....can't wait. I know, I know...the sock is upstairs on the coffee table, but I need some speed and I've gotta work some kinks out before I return to little laps on DPN's so ...out to the clothesline and then I'll get started and I can't wait to show you what I'm making...I think I can...I don't think it's a surprise... I'll have to see.

First I need to do a little digging in the scrap basket...it used to be just a box, but the box couldn't contain the overflowing amount of scraps too big to give up on...scraps that still held promise of something wonderful...a POP of color here or there...just the right accent... some pressing is in order to make all the wrinkles lay back down and behave nicely...

Maybe I can't show it,....it might be someones gift...I'll have to think about it...

Just wanted you to know you keep killing me with "the sock" comments. Like it's alive or something---makes me smile every time.....

Good thing you work at a vet clinic - in case "the sock" gets sick or something. Looking forward to seeing what you're digging in your scrap bag for. Still working on my PhD (projects half done).....
