Just another day in Paradise!

Today is a rainy day...not a bad thing, a rainy day. I have been walking past things in my house for the past month and not even seeing them. Tomorrow I have someplace to go and it may mean I need to go again this week to finish it up, so today is the day. I have some errands to do, to pick up things I need to be able to finish some projects, but I hesitate to go, because it takes so much time from my day...but I must, so I think it will just be later.
I have a box of books from the boys room with no place to go, so they have been a box of books, overflowing, in their newly painted room. I will put a shelf from Lowe's on my list and I can add it in the bookshelf in the book storage down here and give those books a home, and hopefully get some of the other books off the floor in that space. They have slide off, and now have no where to go. There is also nothing on the window in that room. There used to be a curtain in there, but it went with the old room and now I think a mini-blind with a valance would be a good fit....so that is on my list....perhaps not the material for the curtain today, but the mini-blind.
The laundry didn't get caught up yesterday, and it probably won't be caught up today, but I'm going to make an attempt at getting it under control..
Homecoming is Saturday and I have a dress that needs the straps shortened up for a friend and I was going to do it yesterday, but I was foggy enough that I thought it better to wait to today....
And the coffee table needs cleaned off...and the kitchen table....and the dining room table...and the hall table....WOW!! Do you sense a theme here?? Anything horizontal has stuff on it right now, that doesn't belong...
Oh, I won't run out of stuff to do...and I need to get knitting on my sock, since I thought I'd have 2 half-dones to take back to class next week....better get at it!!
