Catching up with my Missing Mom pictures...sorry I'm slacking off. After the past few weeks, or months, I've just got to get a routine again...

Missing Mom # 30 - looking for spring..has anyone seen it?? first week of April and I can't seem to find it... This is a bit of a cheater, because I skipped a week, but I have three from the next 2, so I'm just sharing one...arriving at my sister's house in NC

Look at that smile...I'm missing, but loving it because I got my hands on YARN!! and it's just up the street...YARNBIRDS in Raleigh NC...I'll be back..!!! Don't you love this felted hat??? I don't look that great in hats, but maybe they'd just admire the hat if I wore it!!
Yep, Missing Mom #33

MISSING MOM #34 - April 29 - getting ready for my kids to get old...
And here I am at PINE JUNCTION eating with my niece from NC..yep, we drove all the way to NC and she wasn't home!! So then she came up to see us 'cuz she felt so bad...or something like that... and she brought the nicest guy along with her...
And yesterday, this is where I was missing too. Hey, it was windy, rainy, yucky...what a great day to sew a dress. I have sparkles all over everywhere and my friend assured me I will probably keep finding them for months...

Cindy-
You would have had it done weeks ago, but with Andrea's schedule, we finally went Prom Dress shopping last Sunday and found a dress for that, but MayDay is this Friday and no dress for that...So we raced up to Joann Fabrics Th, after softball practice and before I was supposed to work on the Queen and her court's float and bought some LOVELY yellow material with glitter dots...it's WAY better than the sparkle pants that I have sew for the ballgames. Those shiny things are stuck on with glue and it gums up your needle and your thread keeps breaking!!
Today is Mother's Day..Enjoy it and have someone take your picture!!

SO Glad to have you back ~ but even more glad that one of your missing weeks because you were present with me... What a gift!

Can't wait for next years's tax season... what will our project be then?

Well, one thing will be that bottle of wine we never opened and I think a chickflick fest is called for. Knitting something, Chocolate...oh, I don't think we'll lack something to do...

you mean the "Happiness" wine! Got a dish cloth done that matches the terra cotta and green in the kitchen... and have a baby blanket about half done... oh and two sundresses made.

Wine's still on the corner waiting for you ~ and still have the 2pj bottoms to make...and....

maybe you should come back before next April!
