We had such a lovely weekend together, doing the Scrap & Sew with friends. It may come across as a snooty thing, since we don't really invite others, but our space is limited and those who have come before have first option and those we are new, are mostly someone who is replacing their own roommate/tablemate for this time.

Although Renee's husband has been making his own beer for quite a while, this is the first time that Renee has tried her hand at winemaking. Her first flavor is Rhubarb and it was pretty good! We got the first bottle...the rest is still kegged up at home. She will save us another bottle for the spring! She had wanted to try dandelion, but missed the time to harvest them...

I recommend a weekend away for any women with a family. It doesn't have to be expensive. We make it as inexpensive as possible and we still have a great time.
