Which Girl is headed to the Prom?

Here are Andrea and Anna, ready for the prom... Well, actually it is been a few years since Anna went to the prom, but we needed to make a quick stop there on our way over to the group picture for an Anna picture. I know it may seem improper to reveal a lady's age, but Andrea turns 17 in May, and then Anna will be 99 in June. She is my knitting guru and I have to tell you I had a real laugh this past Tuesday when I stopping in with my knitting. I picked up a dishcloth pattern with seed stitch and a design from the internet and I was thinking I had just about mastered the seed stitch and said I was practicing my purls and following a pattern so that I could do a sweater and she informed me that a sweater was easier than the pattern I was using and why was I using size 4 needles?? I was making knitting WAY TOO HARD! You gotta love her honesty. Actually, her real name is Alice Kearns, but we have always called her Anna. I have outgrown my favorite sweater that she knit me so far, but I keep it in my cedar chest and pull it out from time to time.
