confession time...

yes, I am going to confess. The recipe for Linda Condon's bread I used was old and speckled with stuff and I just followed the handwriting at the end that said 3 loaves, but really, I had to follow the writing on the sides of the main numbers to get 3 loaves out of a 2 loaf recipe. So it tastes great, but it is rather flat, as we are missing 1/3 of our loaf!! But that's OK...next time will be sooner and I'll remember and if I'm really good, I'll copy Linda's recipe and write 2 loaves and 3 loaves on the top of 2 separate cards and just follow along the normal way!! BUT>>> I think the cookies with the frosting and sprinkles worked yesterday with my children's time explanation of GOD as the cookie, Jesus as the frosting and the Holy Spirit as the sprinkles. The high school kids wanted to learn, too, because they attacked the left over cookies and they all wanted the ones with Jesus and the Holy Spirit on them first!! Do YOU get it?? The wind is blowing like crazy and I'm thinking no ball games tonight, but it isn't raining right now and if I plan on no games, I have a surprise, so... I can't wait to get home and attack a mess!! Heavenly Days, there are enough of them- and switch the laundry and maybe do the dining room table today before supper... it's good to have plans... and then how about all the clothes that I don't wear...should I get rid of them and clean out the closet and get that Salvation Army boxes going?? I watched PS I LOVE YOU yesterday and yes, Jocie, I needed the tissues. At first I thought - What? Tissues for this and then it just kept on!!
I got my weeding done and moved the sand box and got some raking done and then took the boys and looked at some bikes for me while Dan looked for snazzy Gus Macker socks and then we did a few more errands, spent too much money on junk at the grocery store because we were all hungry and then came home. And Andrea and Emily spent to the wee hours flicking paint on Andrea's lower walls and the chalkboard looks OK, and she finished most of the border last night, but when I told her ALL PAINT AWAY tonight, she said well, she might not be done yet. I'm ready for the paint to be DONE!! But it looks cute, so...I did take a photo of her after Emily painted her legs for her on Saturday. They were lovely. Later...

Love the randomness of this post! And loved the Christ centered cookies--cool idea!
